Support work involves providing practical, one-on-one assistance to help individuals build independence, confidence, and everyday life skills. At Tim Dansie Psychology, our support workers assist children, adolescents, and young adults across a range of settings including home, school, and the community. This may include helping with routines, social skills, emotional regulation, community access, and developing communication and problem-solving skills. Support work is tailored to each individual’s needs and goals, with a strong focus on building capacity, promoting independence, and improving overall quality of life. We work closely with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure consistent and meaningful support.

Hello, my name is Megan Simpson — a Support Worker with a genuine passion for walking alongside clients and their families in everyday life. I hold a Certificate III in Education Support, a Bachelor of Psychological Science, and am currently completing my Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced). I am also a proud Member of the Australian Psychological Society.

I work with NDIS and private clients of all ages, supporting individuals across a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, OCD, and learning difficulties. Every client is different, and I believe the best support starts with listening — so everything I do is shaped collaboratively with clients and their families based on what matters most to them. Sessions may include home visits, mentoring, social skills development, tutoring and academic support, school support, and family respite. Outside of work, I love fellowshipping with friends and family, reading, board games, animals, and spending time at the beach — and I always look for ways to bring that same sense of fun and connection into my work with clients. My heart is in the practical, the relational, and the real — helping people build confidence, develop skills, and thrive in their day-to-day lives.

Jordyn is a reliable, consistent, and empathetic support worker who works with people of all ages to assist them in their everyday lives.

Jordyn holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and is currently completing her Master of Professional Psychology. She has experience working with and supporting NDIS clients with ASD, PDA, ADHD, and a range of additional support needs. Jordyn has a particular passion for supporting children and young adults, whether that’s helping them navigate the demands of school, life or simply being a positive and encouraging presence.

Jordyn can provide support to you, your child, or your family in a number of ways, from helping to establish routines and boundaries, supporting school-to-home transitions, or even just taking some of the pressure off parents. She creates space for clients to talk about their interests, try something new, and feel genuinely heard. This might look like a long chat, a walk, doing an activity together, or just hanging out. Jordyn is committed to building warm, trusting relationships where her clients feel safe, valued, and free to express themselves in whatever way feels right for them.
